Johannes Richter jr. GRANDIOSA lamp

Industrial desk lamp byJohannes Richter for Grandiosa, 1967. Old lamp of german manufacture, brand Sollux, model: "54, grandiosa", bakelite handle. The industrial-style lamp was a heating lamp for treating skin diseases.  It has been refubrished an up-cycled , keeping deep industrial patina.  The lamp has been electrically controlled and is equipped with an e27 socket and LED-retro bulb..

Restoration:

This unit has been hand refurbished. Old multiple layers of paint were gently sanded exposing a vibrant patina. Surface was then glass bead blasted and hand brushed. Steel body was oxidized and waxed.  Re wired for LED retro BULB. 

Condition:

There are signs of wear.
