This early XX century ( 1940s) Double tambour / rollet door filing cabinet comes with a story behind.
It has been used first as a filing cabinet in German military/police station in Ghetto Litzmannstadt ( Lodz, Poland ) during World War 2, and then has been adopted and used in Old Cinema at Piotrkowska Street in Lodz.
It has been gently refubrished, but still kept in its original patina.
Both locks works ( one was changed recently ).
